One Chicago fans are reeling after the most recent events of all three NBC hits.
Chicago P.D. gave fans adrenaline-fueled anxiety for a full hour, while Chicago Med raised ethical questions among doctors.
Chicago Fire focused on character development, and we learned a little more about the kind of people Damon and Pascal are. Until the episode is out, we’re looking ahead at Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 3 spoilers to see what’s to come.
It’s tough to guess what is coming next for many of 51’s top players, but one thing is obvious: things are about to get intense.
The showrunners reminded us in the promo for next week’s episode that no one on this show is safe, and it looks like we could be looking at another tragic Chicago Fire death.
Is Ritter Facing His Last Fire?
Jumping right into our Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 3 spoilers, the promo shows Ritter violently thrown out of a building as it explodes, after which we see Pascal angrily firing someone.

It would seem that Ritter ignored Pascal’s order to evacuate the building, so if he survived the blast, the new chief might be making an example of him by giving him the boot.
But so far, there have been no hints about Ritter leaving the show; in fact, his character is finally starting to get more attention.
I don’t think it makes a ton of sense for him to be fired. Even if he did ignore Pascal’s order, he’s hardly the first to do so.
If that’s what happened, we could be facing a systemic issue in the firehouse.
After Damon deliberately ignored a direct order from Stella in Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 2, he tried to convince Severide to cover for him.
While he was clearly torn about what to do, Kelly ultimately buckled and told Stella everything, and she was pissed.
So now we could have two back-to-back examples of insubordination in the house, and that’s bad news for everyone.
It makes more sense for Pascal to fire Damon. The next episode could feature a big reveal about Damon’s relationship to Severide, and that news might just push Pascal over the edge.
Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 3 Spoilers: What is Pascal’s Problem?
We now know that the chief has serious anger issues and an unchecked penchant for violence.
My biggest concern is whether he has been abusive toward Monica.
KaDee Strickland has experience playing a character who appears unbreakable but is horribly victimized, so it would make sense for the show to cast her in a role like that.
But despite her Private Practice storyline, I am really hopeful that the Chicago Fire writers aren’t setting up a domestic abuse storyline.
I want to believe Pascal is a good person with some issues he needs to work through, but the more he goes around punching people, the harder that is.
If he’s been abusive to Monica, there’s no way I can forgive him for that. Could this show be the one that finally turns me sour on a Dermot Mulroney character?
There’s also a lot of speculation about how much influence Damon might have on Stellaride’s relationship.

Will Damon Come Between Stella and Severide?
After everything they’ve been through, surely 51’s favorite married couple is strong enough to survive an annoying little brother, right?
Damon seems determined to come between Kelly and Stella, though, and we don’t know enough about him yet to know how worried we should be.
Either way, I’m going to need Damon to stay far away from Lizzie.
The two of them gravitated toward each other naturally as the newest members of the house, and that was fine at first.
Is Lizzie at Risk of Heartbreak?
But the more I learn about Damon, the less I trust him. And while I have recently decided to ship Violet and Lizzie, it’s not about that.
Lizzie came to the firehouse last season with some mystery behind her, and we don’t know what she’s been through.
But if years in therapy have taught me anything, her avoidance and fear of commitment are a red flag for some underlying trauma.
She’s started to show a bit more vulnerability lately, and opening up isn’t easy for her. If Damon hurts Novak in any way, I’ll be furious.
What I Hope to See on Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 3
Truthfully, the most important thing I want to see next week is proof that Ritter survives the explosion.
The teaser showed him taking a major hit and Violet crouching over him, looking very concerned, so I’ll be worrying myself sick about that until we get proof of life. Ritter is one of my favorite Chicago Fire characters, and I’m not okay.
As more of Pascal’s story unfolds, maybe we’ll find out what exactly happened in Miami that caused him to flee the state of Florida.

Sure, there are jealousy issues, proven by the way he reacted to the news that another man called his wife on the phone. Toxic much?
But I think it’s much deeper than that. At their first meeting, Vale expressed sympathy to Pascal for what went down in Miami.
There’s a history there, and Monica is at the center of it somehow.
Hopefully, that means we’ll get to see plenty of her throughout the season!
That’s it for our Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 3 spoilers! So, tell me: what do you think is coming next for 51? Hit the comments with your theories about next week!
